Question: What do I need to know/have when going to purchase curtains?

Answer: When coming to purchase curtains for your home, you NEED to have your measurements for each window you plan to cover. Width, length, and any other information that will be necessary to hanging your curtains. You will also want to look and inspect where you are going to hang your rods so that when you come in you will have the insight you need to purchase the rods with out mistakes.

Question: Are we a mattress and furniture store?

Answer: NO! We have gotten that reputation because of the beds in the window. The beds in the window are just to display the bed ensembles that we carry. Furniture is Myth, Home Decorating is Truth.

Question: What is the difference between wide pocket and regular pocket and between rod pocket and pinch pleat?

Answer: When purchasing curtains you need to be aware of the pocket on the valance/curtain. Some styles have a wide pocket and other have a regular rod pocket. Wide rod pockets require the 2 1/2 inch wide rod while regular pocket curtains/valances take the normal 3/4 inch rods. Another thing people have trouble with is knowing the difference between pinch pleat and rod pocket. Some drapes and valances that you purchase may be a pinch pleat style. Pinch pleats mean that it has pleats at the top where you slide drapery hooks. While regular rod pocket means that a rod just slides through the curtain for easier hanging.

Question: What type of rods does Nobrega's carry?

Answer: We carry Kenney, Graber, and Mastex rods/hardware. We carry regular rods, tension rods, bay window rods, double bay window rods, bow window rods, triple rods, tier rods, door panel rods, traverse rods, decorative rods and much more...

Question: When do you get new products in each year?

Answer: That managers meet with salesmen from each company on an average of 2 times a year. Each year, for sure, we get new seasonal items during the beginning of spring and beginning of fall.

Question: What is Nobrega's in store return policy?

Answer: Our return policy is simple. A full refund will be given to all items returned before 7 days as long as you don't wash or iron the products and return them with original labels and packages. After 7 days and up to 30 days you will receive store credit. After 30 days it is a final sale.

Question: I don't know how to get my scarves to look like you have them around the store and can't get the scarf to stay shaped on the scarf holder. Do you have any advice?

Answer: Yes we actually have quite a few tips for you when hanging the scarves. 1. You first need to fold the scarf as you would fold a paper fan. Next figure out how much give you need to hang the scarf on whatever you plan to hang it on. A lot of people complain that they have children in the house and when they tug on the scarf it falls apart. The best thing you can do to prevent this is put a common pin in the corners of the scarf where they will sit on the scarf holders. This will hold it's shape together so that even the kids can't ruin your hard work. =)

Question: Do you do custom orders or have a catalog?

Answer: No and No. The farthest we go to make custom orders is, if we have an item that we carry and it is out of stock, but is still running, we will take an order for you and call you when your item comes in. We do not have a catalog and we will not order something for you that we do not carry.
